Board Star Levels
Hospitals and health systems earn recognition based on the percentage of current board members who hold the CHTL designation.
⭐ One Star
40–74% of board members are Certified Healthcare Trustee Leaders.
⭐⭐ Two Stars
75–99% of board members are Certified Healthcare Trustee Leaders.
⭐⭐⭐ Three Stars
100% of board members are Certified Healthcare Trustee Leaders.

How to Earn Board Star Recognition
- Encourage fellow board members to earn the CHTL designation.
- Once your board reaches a qualifying certification level, THT will verify the number of certified trustees.
- Eligible hospitals will receive official Board Star Recognition based on their level of participation.
