Eligibility and Process

1. The Founders’ or Governance Achievement Award nominee must be a current, active trustee from a member hospital or health system of Texas Healthcare Trustees. The institution’s membership status must be current.

2. The Ollie Jo Bozeman Excellence in Administrative Professionalism Award nominee must be employed by a THT member hospital in an administrative or governance support role.

3. The nomination and its completed form should be accompanied by at least one (1) letter of recommendation.

4. Current members of the THT Board of Directors are not eligible.

5. Complete the nomination form and a summary of the nominee’s contributions (1,000 word maximum) along with no more than three pages of supporting documentation.

6. Please review the criteria carefully to ensure that your application shows full demonstration of the characteristics of the specific award.

7. Return all nominations to THT (via the online form or email [email protected]) by 5 p.m., April 26, 2024. Entries received after April 26th will not be considered.

8. The THT Awards Committee will review all nominations and make the selection. The committee reserves the right to award multiple awards.

9. The winner must be available to attend the Trustee Awards Luncheon at the 2024 Healthcare Governance Conference held on Friday, July 26th at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio Riverwalk. A representative from the hospital may accept the award on his or her behalf.

10. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the award winner(s) or their healthcare organization.

11. All nominators will receive notification of the results.
