The Texas Healthcare Trustees is a statewide association comprised of Texas hospitals, health systems and the 3,000 board members who govern those organizations. Founded in 1961, THT is the oldest trustee organization in the country. THT’s mission is to cultivate informed leaders in health care governance.
THT’s Certified Healthcare Trustee (CHT) designation is earned through a voluntary program designed to help health care board members become better leaders and show their commitment to good governance to their hospital and community.
