Statement of Need/Program Overview
This conference is designed for hospital administrators and staff, offering a broad range of continuing education focused on enhancing hospital operations and performance.

Educational Objectives:

  1. Discuss how to optimize both regulatory and strategic quality by aligning the interests of physicians with those of management.
  2. Outline the current disconnect between physician orientation and training and their current role in our health care systems.
  3. Identify areas of governance risk when developing physician compensation plans.
  4. Identify legislation passed within the recent legislative session that could impact care delivery.
  5. Identify areas of collaboration with the board to spur clinical innovation.
  6. Explain how hospitals can mitigate risk in the new Medicare ACO model.
  7. Examine how incorporating the C.A.R.E. framework into your work model can improve workplace satisfaction and transform care delivery.
  8. Review how clinical and quality directors can educate the board on quality and patient safety metrics.
