Texas Academy of Governance
Texas Healthcare Trustees Foundation initiated the Texas Academy of Governance to strengthen the leadership and decision-making skills of Texas trustees. Dedicated to promoting and recognizing excellence in health care governance, The Texas Academy recognizes "best practices" in governance by Texas trustees and their health care organizations. Recognition is based on the most important aspects of trusteeship – community stewardship, leadership, collaboration, vision, commitment, service and dedication to effective governance.
