This conference is designed for hospital administrators and staff, offering a broad range of continuing education focused on enhancing hospital operations and performance.

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Contrast the best and worst aspects to the new health care system ahead.
  • Identify appropriate technology, means and methods to facilitate access to care where healthcare facilities and/or providers are scarce or non-existent.
  • Demonstrate how telemedicine can be a critical component in creating a sustainable, high quality rural healthcare model.
  • Identify clinical applications available through telemedicine.
  • Discuss how physicians may function best within health system leadership and governance structures.
  • Review dyad management structures among health systems and physicians.
  • Discuss the “universe of best practice” structures of governance and leadership among physicians and health systems.
  • Evaluate the patient experience in your organization.
  • Analyze the culture of caring within your organization.
  • Apply proven strategies of transformational physician leadership in health care.
  • Implement techniques to successfully engage and motivate clinicians.
  • Develop skills to become a more effective and inspirational clinical leader.

The Healthcare Governance Conference provides 6 (pre-conference) and 8.25 (conference hours that can be used toward earning (24 hours of education required) or renewing (12 hours of education required) your CHT designation. Keep a copy of your CE certification or turn it in to the registration desk for proof of attendance.
