About Us

Texas Healthcare Trustees is a statewide association whose members are the governing boards of Texas hospitals, health systems and health related organizations. THT provides education, advocacy and leadership for its members. Membership includes more than 450 governing boards and represents nearly 4,000 trustees. THT is the oldest trustee organization in the country, founded in 1961 and is affiliated with the Texas Hospital Association.

Structure

Texas Healthcare Trustees operates under its own charter and dues structure. A Board of Directors that represents the geographic regions of the state governs the organization. Supporting organizations include THT Foundation and Texas Academy of Governance.
