Texas Healthcare Trustees maintains strong collaborative ties with many health care-related organizations. Together, THT and its partners work to provide valuable education and leadership growth opportunities for Texas hospital trustees.
Texas Hospital Association
Texas hospitals and the 365,000 health care professionals they employ share one overarching mission: to make quality, compassionate, affordable health care accessible to all Texans. The Texas Hospital Association’s experienced team has earned a reputation among Texas hospitals as the go-to resource and thought leader in hospital-related education, advocacy and issues management. THA is the primary underwriter of Texas Healthcare Trustees activities, and provides staff support for marketing, IT, accounting and other operational areas.
Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals
The Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals is an organization of rural and community hospitals, corporations and interested individuals working together to address the special needs and issues of rural and community hospitals, staff and patients they serve. TORCH and THT partner on numerous education events for trustees, and TORCH is a long-time support of the THT annual conference.
AHA Center for Healthcare Governance
The Center for Healthcare Governance is a national organization affiliated the American Hospital Association that brings together a community of hospital and health system board members, executives and thought leaders dedicated to advancing excellence, innovation and accountability in health care governance. Texas Healthcare Trustees participates with the center on projects and programs that further both organizations' mission and vision.
The center’s vision is to bring about excellence and accountability in governance by being the valued source, for health care leaders and trustees, of innovative governance thinking, information, tools and content.
